The Tunics T100R offers a laser that features the best specifications in all domains, replacing the need for several specialized laser sources for each application: Tunics T100R guarantees the highest wavelength accuracy (±5 pm), covers a wide tuning range from 1490 nm to 1650 nm and features high output power (+10 dBm) and ASE noise free output(>95 dB SSE).

The revolutionary new Optim-Y technology combines years of experience in External Cavity Lasers previously developed in the Tunics Plus, Tunics Purity and Tunics Reference products.

The Tunics T100R features two operating modes. The sweeping mode delivers a continuous variation of the wavelength at a constant rate to enable a fast and uninterrupted measurement. In the Step-by-Step mode, the laser stops at the required wavelength to allow for long term testing as well as in-process alignments.
