Yenista CT400 Component Tester
The CT400 offers a versatile, compact and low price solution for customers who want to perform optical loss measurements over a wide wavelength range. The instrument is used in conjunction with an existing tunable laser and PC. Unlike typical set-ups, which rely on stepping measurements, the unique design of the CT400 enables reliable and accurate sweeping measurements, which offer more sampling points and better wavelength accuracy.
The CT400’s unique design combines of high speed electronics and optical interferometry. Up to four real-time measurements are now possible with ±5 pm wavelength accuracy. This allows the use of CT400 during alignment and manufacturing processes, but also for optical sensor analysis. In addition, the patented configuration of the CT400 allows a continuous sweep over several lasers (up to 4) in order to achieve a fast full-range measurement.
The CT400 adapts to most of tunable laser sources and its compact format and open architecture make it a reliable low cost instrument to quickly test or validate design.
