Tunics T100-eR
The Tunics T100-eR offers a laser that features best specifications in all domains, replacing the need for several specialized laser sources for each application. The revolutionary new Optim-Y technology combines years of experience in External Cavity Lasers previously developed in the Tunics Plus, Tunics Purity and Tunics Reference products.
The Tunics T100-eR operates with both sweeping and stepping modes over a wide tuning range from 1490 nm to 1650 nm. The laser features no-ASE (100 dB SSE typical), high output power (allowing multiple measurement stations), high wavelength accuracy, and mode-hop free operation. Tunics T100-eR guarantees smooth spectral sweeps free of any mode hops over the entire 160 nm tuning range thanks to real-time optimization of the laser cavity alignment using feedback loops. The integrated Michelson-based wavelength meter avoids the need for an external wavelength meter. The meter is able to track and correct any wavelength deviation so that Tunics T100-eR can operate with ±5 pm absolute wavelength accuracy and ±1 pm/h wavelength stability, ideal for long-term testing such as thin-film growth monitoring. Any wavelength on the full wavelength range may be selected with a 1pm resolution.
This is ideal for precise characterization of optical components.The laser also features optical and electrical monitoring outputs, so the user can easily integrate it inside a measurement set-up.
